Welcome to the Study Abroad Program (SAP) in Costa Rica!
The Study Abroad Program at UTUR is an intensive immersion Spanish program for adult students: professionals, college students and senior students ranging from low level beginners to upper level advanced.
We are fully accredited by Costa Rican Ministry of Education. This allows you to have the highest quality of Spanish instruction. Our courses are divided into 3 major levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Courses start every Monday all year round. Electives courses with Costa Rican students are also available.
We are located in downtown San José (Costa Rica). Our strategic location will not only allow us to pick you up at the Juan Santamaría International Airport (that is only a short 20 minute drive from our location) while you will be able to organize tours to world class beaches, national parks, rain forest and volcanoes. During your studies at UTUR, you may stay in a Costa Rican host family, hotel or hostel, however our friendly staff will be more than happy to help you plan your trips and excursions to our incredible world famous beaches and national parks.
